Performing live has been a part of Sam’s career for a considerable length of time. As a student at the Daventry Music Centre he played at The Royal Albert Hall and The Birmingham Symphony Hall, a fantastic experience for a young drummer.

Sam has played all over the country; several tours have taken him north, south, east and west in the United Kingdom, for example, Glasgow, Brighton, Norfolk and Llandudno! The tour with Spunge included gigs in Newcastle, Reading, Bristol and Manchester. Sam has played at several major Birmingham venues, namely, The 02 Academy, The Asylum and the HMV Institute. Other notable venues include Nottingham Rock City, The Robin 2 in Bilston, The Fleece (Bristol), The Wedgewood Rooms (Portsmouth), The Sheffield Corporation and The Manchester Roadhouse. This year his focus has been more concentrated on London venues, mostly in Camden, Finsbury Park and Stoke Newington.                            

In the past, Sam has supported Scouting For Girls, The Blockheads, Andrew WK, Richie Ramone and Stiff Little Fingers. For Sam, performing is a massive part of his career, and if given the opportunity to play live, he will take it.
